Vinyasa means to place, in a special way. A single vinyasa can also refer to a sequence of movement that is paired with breath. Vinyasa yoga is therefore a sweeping term that can apply to many yoga practices that involve conscious movement and breath.

Daily Yoga

Establishing a yoga routine can be challenging, but sometimes all it takes is a commitment to a week, or a month of any activity to make it a long-term (and hopefully rewarding) part of your life. Each month we commit to practicing 20 minutes every day, whether it's a dynamic asana-based session to jumpstart your morning, or a calming, stretch-based class to clear your head at the end of a long day. Sue Lee is a 200-hr certified Ashtanga vinyasa yoga teacher, 85-hr pregnancy yoga teacher, and owner of the Ty Yoga studio in Brecon, Wales. We are excited to team up and bring you a new course this February 2021!

Incorporating 'yin' and 'yang' philosophy, this course is designed to help restore balance and provide you with uplifting energy to beat the winter blues. It consists of 4 'yin' energy based classes which are gentle, soft, and calming. The other 4 are 'yang' energy classes which will be active, dynamic, and invigorating.

WORKSHOPS

​If you are new to yoga, and even if you have a regular practice, certain movements can be hard to grasp during a short class. Workshops are a great way to understand the mechanics of a movement, learn strength-building exercises and variations, get feedback on your progress, and figure out how to integrate new movements into your practice.

This yoga retreat takes place aboard the yacht, the Lito and sails in the south Ionian Sea, visiting the historic islands of Meganisi, Kastos, Kalamos, Ithaca, and Kefalonia.


The all-inclusive price includes daily yoga sessions, local tours, and breakfast / lunch/ most dinners freshly prepared onboard. Not included are flights to and from Kefalonia International Airport (EFL), airport transfers to and from the Lito's harbour in Kefalonia, and 2-3 restaurant meals. Maximum capacity 5 guests.

Given the uncertainties of the current climate, we are accepting bookings as usual but guests may cancel their booking up to one day before the retreat.

ABOUT 

Wen took her first rocket yoga class in London in 2017 and stayed for the warmth of the community and the relevance of yoga philosophy to modern life. 

She is trained in Ballet, Chinese classical and folk dance, and the Horton and Graham styles of modern dance. As a yogi, she is trained in Tripsichore and is certified in Ashtanga, Rocket, and Mandala.

​Away from the mat, she is a lawyer and has a BA from Brown, an MA from Yale, and a JD from Georgetown. 

To her, yoga is a lifelong dance. She is focused on quality of movement and breath, and playful sequencing that brings a healthy challenge to the body and mind.

She thanks Marcus Veda, The Yoga People, and her sister-from-another-mister Sue Lee for their lessons in breath, movement, and life.
